Tracking your measurements is a key part of your progress with the Resilient app. Regular weight and body measurements help monitor changes, even when the scale doesn't move.
✔️ How often should you weigh yourself?
Weigh yourself once a week, in the morning, after using the bathroom, and on an empty stomach. Try to do it in the same outfit or without clothing and always use the same scale for consistency.
✔️ Why take body measurements?
Even if your weight stays the same, your body can still be changing. Measuring different body areas helps track progress more accurately.
How to measure correctly?
📏 Chest – Measure at nipple level, after exhaling.
📏 Arm – Measure your non-dominant arm (e.g., left if you're right-handed) at the midpoint between the shoulder and elbow, with your arm relaxed.
📏 Waist – Measure above the belly button, with relaxed abdominal muscles.
📏 Hips – Measure at the widest part of your hips, standing straight.
📏 Thigh – Measure the same thigh each time at its widest point.
By tracking these measurements regularly, you’ll get a clearer picture of your progress! 😊
